I spent 1 month at Beach Veli while I was doing my Divemaster course with Dive Ukulhas. I was very happy staying there. My room was clean and quiet. I had the local breakfast option everyday, it was delicious! Karissa and Krishna were around everyday always saying hello and asking if I needed anything. It’s in a nice location, near a lot of restaurants and straight across from the nicest beach on the island! My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay at Beach Veli again!

Had a lovely two weeks on Ukulhas staying at Beach Veli.. staff were very efficient , friendly and helpful and the owner was fantastic... Tohl went out of his way to ALWAYS make sure everything was perfect... you name it - Swimming with Manta rays, Swimming with sharks, Whaleshark tours, night fishing.... he organised everything effortlessly... he also has a dive school which we will definitely use next time... thanks for being such a wonderful host Tohl... see you again next time when i bring the daughters and their families... :) Zahn and Scott

Nice, small accommodation close to the beach. Sea is just few steps through the tropical vegetation. Rooms are nice but no windows which is weird but looking around it seems typical local constraction type. Buildings are attached to each other. AC needs to run permanently because of the high humidity. Breakfast need to be chosen the day before (3 kinds: typical Maldives, continental and pancake). Breakfast served with fruits, 1 glass of juice and coffee/tea. Not so lavish but enough. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Beach Veli (Veli meaning sand in Dhivehi, the local language), is exactly what it promises: a hotel located just mere steps from a sandy and sunny beach, hidden away by coconut palm trees and shrubbery. The hotel is managed by the beautiful Mandy, hailing from Germany, who is one of the most friendliest and courteous hosts, sure to make you feel like you are in a home away home, friendly and attentive to making your stay smooth and seamless. Tourism and local life blends comfortably on the island, the hotel providing an atmosphere that is both positive and relaxing. The surrounding beach and waters provides an experience unlike any other to sunbathe and snorkel, dive or for water sports and activities. In short, a memorable stay to wind down, refresh, and reconnect with nature.

The Guest House is just a few steps away from the beach, on the side of sunrise. It has the best part of the beach at this time of the year and the shadow from wild hibiscus trees where you can have the shade during the midday. I stayed from 24th till 9th January 2022. Met some very beautiful guests who were staying there and it was a lovely environment. The host, Mandy is simply amazing. She is part of the guests and enjoys every activity with guests especially in the water which gives you a far better experience than being alone or with other general guides. The house reef is simply amazing. just a few strokes away from the shore in front of the guest house where you can surely see at least 3 to 4 turtles and a few friendly sharks along with Nemo and colourful parrotfishes and so on. Me and my boyfriend can wholehartedly recommend Beach Veli. The location was peaceful and magical, very close to a beautiful beach. The atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. Super friendly staff and absolutely amazing manager Mendy. She was so helpful with everything. Mendy make you feel like part of family. We had amazing time there and could not recommend it enough. We were so sad to leave. Beach Veli is definitely somewhere we would stay again. Iwona &Lukas
